Tocino BILT Sando


DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. In a medium size bowl, marinate bacon with tocino mix and brown sugar and let sit for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Place parchment paper on baking sheet and line bacon up and bake in the oven for 20-25min or until golden brown.

  3. Toast two slices of sourdough.

  4. Mix mayo, garlic, togarashi and lemon into an aioli. Spread on sourdough slices

  5. Fry/scramble eggs. Layer eggs, cooked bacon, tomato and lettuce into sandwich

Ingredients:

Serving: 1 sandwich

Prep time: 30 min (marinating)

Cook time: 20 min

Tocino Bacon:

1 packet of “Mama Sita’s” tocino marinade powder mix

Alt. (2 tbsp brown sugar, 2 tsp annatto powder, ½ tbsp salt, 2 tbsp white vinegar)

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 packet of thick cut bacon (4 slices per sandwich)

Sandwich

2 Slices of Sourdough Bread, toasted

1-2 eggs, scrambled or fried

4 strips of tocino bacon

1 tomato, sliced

1 head of lettuce

1 tbsp mayo

1 clove garlic, minced

1-2 tsp togarashi (sub chili powder)

½ lemon, juiced
